Don't forget to register for the Run for the Hills 5k trail race
Latest News
The 2025 edition of the Apple Harvest Ramble featured two enthusiastic cadres of runners, willing to take on the challenging hills and the summer-like temperatures.
Speaking of scorching: the womens' half-marathon winner Nora Blodgett set a new course record of 1:28:13, eclipsing the old record by nearly five minutes!
Other winners included Nick Hall (men’s half, in 1:22:08); Chris Gibson (men’s 5k, in 18:54), and Madeleine Warren (women’s 5k, in 21:55).
Thanks to the volunteer efforts of the Harvard Lions (who served as course marshals), and the Bromfield XC team (water tables), all runners were supported along the way - and reported having a great time. As always, runners and their fans stuck around for refreshments, drinks, and the swapping of stories. We’re looking forward to another successful Ramble in 2026!

In spite of some looming rain, both the 5M and 1M fun run went off under great running conditions today. The results and pictures for the 5M and 1M have been uploaded.
The 5M was won by Carolina Karlowicz with a time of 33:58 (6:48/mi) and The Harvard Running Legend Nick Rindenello with a time of 29:06 (5:50/mi). Great runs by both of them. The first finisher in the 1M kids fun run was Padraig O'Leary. Lots of hard running out there today and lots of smiles.
See ya'll in September for the Apple Harvard Ramble!

An epic day on the trails today as the race was held with some sun (Yes, the Sun decided to show up after days of deluge!), lots of mud and many, many smiles as happy trail runners took off through the orchard meadows and sloppy trails.
The race was sponsored and managed the many members of Harvard Conservation Trust. Thanks to all who ran and supported our cause, including our many, many sponsors … it was a great day!
